Solarfox Online Management 4.0: Even more intuitive, powerful and flexible
We are pleased to announce that the new Solarfox Online Management 4.0 is now available. After several years of intensive development, the platform has not only been technically enhanced, but also visually modernised to enable you to control and manage your Solarfox displays even more efficiently.
The most important new feature: operation has been significantly simplified and now allows for more convenient customisation of your content – especially for master templates and individual customer requirements.
The new version offers you:
✔ A modern, clearly structured user interface
✔ Noticeably higher stability and performance
✔ Easier customisation of layouts and displays
✔ Greater flexibility for individual settings
The conversion will take place gradually for all customers.
Discontinuation of the SC200 and SC1000 display models as of 1. March 2026
First, please check whether you are using an SC200 or SC1000 display model device.
Devices in these series require a hardware upgrade via our retrofit package.

EOL of Solarfox displays with SC200 or SC1000 control computer
After many years of reliable service, the SC200 and SC1000 models will be taken out of service on 1. March 2026 (EOL – END OF LIFE). The reason for this is not only the lack of compatibility with the new Solarfox Online Management 4.0, but also the fact that the chip manufacturer will no longer provide security updates after this date. This may result in an increased security risk if the devices continue to be used.
Please note:
Depending on when the system is upgraded to version 4.0, functional restrictions may occur even before the above date. Once your system has been migrated and the security updates officially expire, both display model series will no longer be usable.
We offer a retrofit package for Solarfox displays with SC1000 control computers.
For older devices with SC200 control computers (2011-2015), replacing individual components is not economically advisable.
Our team will be happy to assist you in selecting a suitable replacement device and with the conversion.
Solution for Solarfox displays with SC200 or SC1000 control computer
If your device is one of the affected models, please contact our sales team and have the SFD serial number of the relevant display ready. We will check your device based on this serial number and provide you with a customised quote for the appropriate retrofit upgrade.
After the hardware upgrade, you can continue to use your existing configuration without any changes. All currently configured content, settings and data will be retained, so you will not need to reconfigure anything.
At the same time, you will benefit from the new features of the new online management system and will be able to make full use of them in future.

Please ensure that the Solarfox display has access to the following IP addresses in the respective network. If a firewall is in place, the appropriate permissions must be granted.
